With the main objective of providing unique sanitary ware products and ceramic bathroom accessories, Amic Ceramics was established in the year 1992. Quality & costing does matter was the motto of Late Shri Amrutlal Lakhatariya, one of the founders and pillar of the sanitary wares in the Lakhatariya family in Thangadh.

History started back in 1963, when Late Amrutlal Lakhatariya started a firm named “Hasvantrai & Co. for trading of various kinds of ceramic products. Growing demand of qualitative ceramic products led him, and his son Bharat Lakhatariya, to established Premier Potteries for saucers and cups, Premier Potteries for sanitary products, Apex Ceramics, a complete sanitary ware solution, in 1975, 1979 and 1988 respectively. Apex Ceramic had first of its kind modern Shuttle Kiln in Thangadh.

Amic Ceramics, a fully modern manufacturing unit with tunnel kiln and brand name AMIC started by his sons Mr. Bharat and Prakash Lakhatariya in 1992 to satisfy a continuous flow of demand across India as well as abroad. In 1995, Apex International was started to represent Amic Ceramics in the international market for direct exporting.

Today, Amic Ceramics, Apex Ceramic and Apex International are totally family owned business, having growth rate of more than 230% since last three years. Amic Ceramics has earned respect in the Indian and international markets with its commitment to innovation, unwavering quality and customers’ satisfaction and one of the fastest growing sanitary ware company of India.
